We are seeking a talented, creative, and performance-driven Frontend Developer to build exceptional digital experiences for our new luxury hotel and resort in Vietnam. This role is crucial during the pre-opening phase, focusing on developing responsive, high-conversion websites, booking engines, guest portals, and retail e-commerce interfaces that deliver seamless user experiences across all devices.
As Frontend Developer, you will work closely with the Digital Marketing team, Magento Developer, DevOps Engineer, and Business Analyst to create visually stunning and highly functional digital platforms that drive direct bookings and enhance guest engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Web & Digital Interface Development
Develop and maintain responsive, pixel-perfect frontend interfaces for the hotel website, booking engine, and retail e-commerce platform.
Implement modern UI/UX designs with high attention to performance, accessibility, and mobile-first principles.
Collaborate on integration with Magento 2, PMS (Opera or similar), and other backend systems.
Feature Implementation
Build interactive features such as room selection tools, dynamic pricing displays, virtual tours, calendar widgets, and personalized guest experiences.
Optimize frontend performance (Core Web Vitals, loading speed, SEO).
Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design across all devices.
Collaboration & Best Practices
Work with UI/UX designers to translate Figma/Adobe XD designs into clean, maintainable code.
Participate in code reviews, Agile ceremonies, and contribute to frontend architecture decisions.
Support pre-opening digital launches, A/B testing, and continuous improvements.
Technical & Compliance Support
Implement SEO best practices, analytics tracking, and accessibility standards.
Support document verification for third-party libraries, licenses, and integration agreements.
Work with DevOps team on deployment, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud hosting (AWS).
Requirements & Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience
4–8+ years of hands-on frontend development experience.
Strong portfolio showcasing modern web applications, preferably in hospitality, travel, or e-commerce.
Technical Skills
Expert proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript.
Strong experience with React.js / Next.js (preferred), Vue.js, or Angular.
Proficiency with state management (Redux, Context API), RESTful APIs, and GraphQL.
Experience with Tailwind CSS, Sass, responsive design, and modern build tools (Webpack, Vite).
Knowledge of Magento 2 frontend (Luma theme or custom), PWA, and headless commerce is a strong advantage.
Familiarity with Git, Jira, and AWS services.
Language & Soft Skills
Excellent command of English (spoken and written). Vietnamese is a strong advantage.
Creative mindset with strong attention to detail and user-centric thinking.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced pre-opening environment.
