Key Responsibilities
Process Optimization: Analyze production workflows and operational procedures to identify inefficiencies, reduce costs, and increase overall throughput.

System Design & Layout: Develop and implement effective facility layouts, workstation designs, and material handling systems to improve ergonomics and workflow fluidity.

Lean Implementation: Lead continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Kaizen, Six Sigma, 5S) to eliminate waste and standardize best practices across the facility.

Performance Metrics: Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor productivity, quality standards, and labor efficiency, providing actionable data for management.

Capacity Planning: Evaluate production capacity and demand forecasts to optimize resource allocation, scheduling, and inventory management.

Quality Assurance: Collaborate with quality control teams to perform root-cause analysis on defects and implement process changes to ensure consistent product standards.

Safety & Compliance: Ensure that all operational processes and equipment configurations adhere strictly to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations and internal safety protocols.

Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt) certification is a strong plus.

Experience: Proven experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment focusing on process improvement, systems analysis, or production planning.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Minitab, or SQL) and simulation/modeling software (e.g., Arena, FlexSim, or AutoCAD).

Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Theory of Constraints, and Value Stream Mapping.

Ability to perform time-study analysis and interpret statistical process control (SPC) data.
