Job Summary
We are looking for a high-performing and strategic Area Manager to oversee the operations and sales performance of multiple stores/branches within an assigned region. You will act as the link between regional headquarters and individual store management, ensuring that all locations adhere to company standards, achieve sales targets, and provide exceptional customer service.
Job Responsibilities
Operational Excellence: Supervise and monitor the daily operations of all assigned locations to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Performance Management: Set and track KPIs (sales, profitability, inventory, customer satisfaction) for each store. Analyze performance data and implement strategies to close performance gaps.
Team Leadership: Recruit, train, coach, and motivate Store Managers and team members. Foster a high-performance culture across the region.
Business Growth: Identify new market opportunities, analyze competitor activities, and develop plans to increase market share within the area.
Financial Oversight: Monitor budgets, manage P&L (Profit and Loss) for the region, and ensure operational costs are well-controlled.
Brand Standards: Ensure all stores maintain consistent branding, visual merchandising standards, and service quality.
Collaboration: Serve as the primary point of contact for store managers; relay feedback and strategic directions between the regional office and the field.
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related fields.
Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in retail management, area management, or multi-unit supervision (FMCG, Retail, Electronics).
Leadership: Proven ability to lead, develop, and inspire large teams across multiple locations.
Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of P&L management, sales forecasting, and retail operations.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to translate corporate strategy into effective field execution.
Communication: Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills; ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Mobility: Willingness to travel frequently to visit assigned stores and conduct field audits.
